Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base: If your Scout is interested in the Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base trip in June (June 12-20), we need to know! Rocky Mountain High Adventure Base (RMHAB) is in Colorado. Scouts that have completed the 8th grade and the First Class rank can attend RMHAB. RMHAB used to be known as Packard High Adventure Base. They have built a new camp near the old camp and have a new name. They will be offering the same activities as the other years. We will leave on Saturday, June 12th and return on Sunday, June 20th.
The activities that are available for the scouts are:
Whitewater rafting
Climb a ‘fourteener’ (14,000 foot mountain)
Mountain lake fishing
Rock climbing and rappelling
Mountain biking
High mountain day hiking
The total cost is about $500 which includes $360 to the camp if paid by March 1 (or $385 if full amount is paid by 4/15) and an estimated $140 for travel expenses. We are collecting the $50 deposit (non-refundable) NOW!

Following is the payment schedule for this High Adventure trip: NOW - First $50 deposit due (non refundable) 01/15 - First $155 per person is due. 03/01 - Second $155 per person is due. 04/15 - full payment for RMHAB is due (Total fee is $385 per person - $360 Per person if paid and postmarked before 03/01) 05/15- Remainder of trip costs to Troop |
