Saturday, March 13, 2010 we will meet at I Hop at 6:15 a.m. and will have the bus loaded and ready to leave at 7:00 a.m.  Please have eaten breakfast before 6:15.

 

Saturday - travel day – red troop shirt

Lunch – troop lunch along the way

5:00 p.m. Dinner at Cici Pizza in Pensacola FL

We will spend the night at the “Y”

 

Sunday – Navel Air Station wear Class A uniform

7:00 a.m. rise and shine

8:00 a.m. Breakfast at the Navel Air Station

11:00 a.m. IMAX – Storm Chasers

Lunch – troop lunch

Museum – until 4:30

5:00 p.m. Dinner – Navel Air Station

We will spend the night at “Y”

Lights out will be at 9:00 p.m. because we will be getting up at 5:00 a.m. 

Everyone and everything must be packed by 6:00 a.m. Monday morning. 

 

Monday – time at the beach & the ship

5:00 a.m. rise and shine

6:00 a.m. Everyone and everything must be packed

6:30 a.m. Breakfast at Navel Air Station (class A uniform)

Beach –

Lunch – Troop Lunch at the beach

Mobile AL – We are to check in at 4 p.m.

5:00 p.m. dinner is on the ship (class A uniform)

 

Tuesday – travel day

Breakfast – on the ship 7 a.m. (class A uniform)

8:00 a.m. Leave for home – red troop shirt for travel please

Lunch – troop lunch along the way

6:00 p.m.  Arrive at Greggton United Methodist; we will call when we are about an hour out

  

We will be traveling in red troop shirts, if you don’t have one please get one

Both travel days, Saturday and Tuesday, you will need a troop shirt; it would be appreciated if you had one for Monday also. 

 

Packing list for Spring Break

 

Class A Uniform – to be worn ALL day Sunday, breakfast and dinner on Monday and breakfast on Tuesday

 

Clothes for three days including Class B shirts

(solid colored shorts or jeans)

Comfortable shoes

Jacket

 

Sleeping Bag, sleeping pad is ok (no cots)

Pillow

Flashlight

 

Swimsuit

Towel – for time on the beach

Sunscreen if needed

 

Shower shoes  

Toiletries

Wash rag & towel

A bag to carry your things to and from the shower

 

Cameras are welcomed but boys are responsible for keeping up with it.  No other electronics are needed.  NO CELL PHONES Please. 

 

Please label everything, things get dropped and mixed up. 

 

Medications will need to be checked in with Mr. Lew.  Mr. Lew will also collect money sent with the boys for souvenirs, please put money in an envelope with the scout’s name on it. Once the souvenir is purchased it is the scout’s responsibility to keep track of it.
